Kelly Kalmes has specialized in project management for over 25 years. She is the founder and president of Project Knowledge LLC, a Chicago-based training and consulting firm specializing in Project Management. She is on the faculty of both Loyola University School of Business Administration where she teaches their project management certificate program, a course she authored, and Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies where she teaches another course she authored on project management. Additionally, Kelly is a certified presenter for the American Management Association, a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) where she has made national and international presentations, and she is a member of the American Society for Training and Development. Kelly has authored several project management courses and has established project office environments for many Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Project Knowledge, her extensive practical experience included positions as president and co-founder of a Chicago/Detroit based project management consulting firm, and vice president of a San Francisco based project management consulting firm. Kelly attended Loyola University, the American Academy of Art (Commercial Art Degree) and DePaul University (MBA program).
Linda Hides is responsible for managing all administrative activities at Project Knowledge LLC. She is the one that contacts clients when there are classes coming up and ensures that the correct and complete order of materials arrives on time. She oversees the printing, shipping and editing of all the course manuals. Linda has worked for design firms in the past as production manager so she is very familiar with the process.
Carolyn Moncel is responsible for keeping all Project Knowledge internal projects running smoothly. Additionally, she runs the Registered Educational Provider (REP) program. Coupled with more than 15 years of experience in office administration, Carolyn also has 10 years of experience working in public relations and Internet marketing. She has spent time both in the private sector - in agency, corporate and nonprofit environments, and also in the public sector developing strategies for local political campaigns. Carolyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Organizational Communications and minored in political science.
Daniel Diem is a consultant and trainer in project management, business policy, and strategic and market planning. With over 20 years of project management, product development, business management and consulting experience, Dan has counseled clients on strategic and market planning, working primarily with companies in the healthcare, financial and manufacturing industries. Consulting projects ranged from developing and implementing customer selection models to developing pricing strategies and performance measurement programs. Prior to starting his consulting practice, Dan worked for the American Hospital Association, where he designed and implemented a telecommunications-based member benefit service. He also served as business manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where he developed and executed project plans for business and management planning processes and provided financial analysis of pricing activities, service levels and service mix. He has taught courses at Kendall College, Roosevelt University, the American Management Association and for private clients. Dan has a Master of Management degree in organization behavior and marketing from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Development from Michigan State University.
Ray Grymski has 20 years experience in project management and change management consulting and has counseled over 75 organizations. He has held senior management positions in the consulting practices of Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche. Ray uses his expertise to guide organizations through all phases of large-scale organizational change: planning, organizing and implementing strategies and projects. His typical assignments include strategic redirection, organizational transformation, reengineering, mergers and acquisitions, and implementation of enterprise information technology (e.g. SAP). Ray represents clients in a variety of different industries, from healthcare to manufacturing to financial services. Companies he has worked with are: RR Donnelley & Sons, Tellabs, Allstate and ComEd. Ray holds an advanced degree in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. He has also completed post-graduate work at The University of Chicago.
Gloria Cotton specializes in helping project managers implement and improve organizational diversity and performance practices. She has over 25 years of experience in management and training as well as human and organizational development. A self-described "Human Resources Queen," Gloria has worked in Corporate America since 1985 and now as an independent consultant, she uses her expertise to help individuals, teams and organizations develop strategies, processes and skills. Gloria has worked with a vast array of clients-Fortune 500 companies and non-profits alike. She holds a BS in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
